Ms. Ashley (Owner, Founder, Teacher Monday through Thursday)

Hi! I am Ashley Trainor a mom of three, Montessori teacher, and a Cedarsong Way Nature Play School teacher. I graduated from St. Lawrence University with a major in psychology and a minor in education. I taught in a Montessori school for many years with children 2.5 to 6 years. In the fall of 2022 I started Dancing Cranes Nature Play School. I love that my classroom is now completely outside! In my heart I believe that there is no better classroom for children than outside in nature. They can be free to be exactly who they want to be. They learn through play, exploring the world around them and gain confidence by taking risks and exploring. Most importantly they gain a love of learning and a love for their earth.

Jessie (Teacher, Monday)

Hi I’m Jessie Thompson, mama to five and long time lover of living my life outdoors. I have a MS in Health Promotion and Education from the University of Utah with an emphasis in mindfulness. I’m a long time ski and bike patroller for Deer Valley resort and working and playing outside brings me joy! My family and I love to camp, hike, paddle, ski and explore.The outdoors bring a sense of calm and confidence to my kids and I’ve seen first hand the benefits of nature school in my 8 and 6 year old. I can’t wait to share this experience with your children and watch their hearts and minds blossom in the best classroom I know.

Leani (Teacher, Monday through Thursday)

Hi my name is Leani! I have been a nanny and educator for the past 15 years in Utah, California and Oregon and just recently became a certified birth doula. My degree is in early childhood education, with emphasis in Montessori/Waldorf/Reggio education. I love what I get to do for work and am passionate about the simplicity of being present with children. Outside of work, I enjoy gardening with my husband, working on our house, hiking with our dogs, painting, snowboarding, taking any chance to get to the ocean, and getting lost in a good book.

Marin (Teacher, Tuesday)

Hi All, my name is Marin Allred and I love living in Park City and being a part of this wonderful community. I was born and raised in Anchorage, Alaska where my passion for the outdoors began through hiking, skiing, fishing and camping. I also love playing sports and played soccer throughout college. I’ve lived in Park City for almost 10 years and have worked in hospitality and health and fitness. My husband Trevor and I have two littles of our own, Sage (6, and a Dancing Cranes Alumnus), and Adee (3, current student at Dancing Cranes) and two golden retrievers and a yellow lab. We all love to hike, bike, ski, camp, garden and play outside together. I’m really excited to be at Dancing Cranes and exploring nature with your littles!
